Lorraine Bell is the founder and Director of Simply CSR and is a CSR champion in every sense.
With a BA (Hons) in Service Sector Management and extensive private, voluntary and community experience Lorraine is an expert in her field.
She has a significant network of contacts and associates and nurtures relationships that benefit business. This, coupled with a great sense of commercial awareness, allows Lorraine to demonstrate visible return on investment through the services she provides.

As a genuine advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Business Practice Lorraine has enjoyed and been successful at brokering many business and voluntary/community partnerships which has included co-founding an award winning PR and Marketing social enterprise and a Community Interest Company.

Her expertise in CSR consultancy has enabled her clients to achieve the BITC Community Mark standard and win Business in the Community national awards including the ‘BITC NPower Small Company of the Year’ – a national example of excellence for responsible practice in small companies.

To compliment her CSR skills and knowledge, Lorraine also has good business acumen, particularly in PR, Marketing and Communications as well as proven Project Management abilities.
Lorraine recently completed her SPEDI (2008) accreditation and a VRQ Level 5 in ‘Social Impact Assessment’ – a practical auditing model to assess and benchmark on financial, social, economic and environmental impacts.
Extensive Network
Lorraine is Vice President for External Relations and CSR for Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce and a facilitator for the University of Brighton ProfitNet programmes, both of which enhance her extensive network of connections and provide access to a significant range of expertise and specialists which sometimes serve to compliment her offerings and can enhance the solutions she provides.
Lorraine is also a member of the Business in the Community's Business Broker forum which is a network of CSR and regeneration experts working throughout the UK.
She recently co-authored a CSR report for the Thailand Government and presented it to over 200 businesses in Bangkok.
Lorraine is extremely approachable, friendly and has a vibrant personality. She is comfortable communicating in a positive and effective way with individuals at all levels and welcomes new challenges and opportunities to share her insight and knowledge and help companies to succeed.
